The RAINS project was represented by partner AgroApps PC at the EU AgRI 2040 Conference, held in Brussels on 24–25 September 2026. The event provided an opportunity to bring RAINS’ work on water scarcity and climate-resilient agriculture into discussions on the future of European farming.
During the conference, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Christophe Hansen visited the RAINS stand to learn more about the project and its solutions. The Commissioner also mentioned RAINS in his subsequent speech, bringing further visibility to the project’s work in the context of agricultural research and innovation.
The conference offered an opportunity to present RAINS and its work on more efficient water and nutrient management to policymakers, researchers, farmers and other stakeholders. These exchanges contribute to broader discussions on how research and innovation can support a more resilient and sustainable agricultural sector across Europe.
Thank you to our partner AgroApps PC for representing the project at this important event and helping raise awareness of its work.
