WHO WE ARE

Regions4Climate is a four year project started in 2023 and received a total grant of 24 522 103 Euros from the European Commission within the Horizon 2020 framework, working on the adaptation to Climate Change.

Our project website https://regions4climate.eu is run by REVOLVE MEDIA (henceforth known as REVOLVE), and as the case may be by third party subcontractors, under the responsibility of REVOLVE.

When we refer to ‘’we’’ or ‘’our’’ in this Privacy Policy we are referring to REVOLVE and any of its affiliates. When we refer to “you” or “your”, we are referring to any user of https://regions4climate.eu (the “Service”).

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

This Privacy Policy relates to our use of any personal data and usage data we collect from you via the Regions4Climate website (https://regions4climate.eu), the Regions4Climate social media pages and accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedin), the third-party services we use, and direct correspondences with us.

We are committed to safeguarding your personal information. Whenever you provide such information, we are legally obliged to use your information in line with the EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereafter the “GDPR”). Please note that, no website can be completely secure. If you have any concerns that one of your REVOLVE accounts could have been compromised, e.g. someone could have discovered your password, please get in touch immediately.

Some of our services may enable you to sign-in via a third-party service, such as Facebook. Please note that any information that is not required by the particular service you have opted to use will not be retained by us.

Personal data

Through interactions with us on social media of Regions4Climate, message boards, web and mobile notifications, telephone or text, we may receive personal information about you. Usage data

Our Service uses Google Analytics and Mailchimp to give us an understanding of our visitors. These third-party services collect data which includes, but is not limited to:

  • The date and time of your visit to our website
  • The duration of your visit to our website
  • The pages you visit during your visit to our website
  • The forms you fill in on our Service
  • The date and time of when you opened our newsletter

To increase the privacy of our visitors, we have opted to anonymise IP addresses collected by Google Analytics which reduces the ability for one to discern the location of our visitors from this IP address, and further ensures the data that Google Analytics collects is anonymous.

Note on uploading images to our Service

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Retention of your personal data

We do not keep personal information for longer than is necessary. While we retain this information, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. That said, we advise that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure and cannot guarantee absolute data security. If necessary, we may retain your personal information for our compliance with a legal obligation or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

Retention of your usage data

We will retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

International transfers of personal information

The personal information we collect is stored and processed in Belgium, or where we or our partners, affiliates and third-party providers maintain facilities. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to the disclosure to these overseas third parties.

Who we are?

RNA is Local Government Organization of Greece that includes the islands of North Aegean. Its responsibilities extend to a wide range of scopes. Regarding “primary sector”, RNA conducts regional developmental programs in agriculture, livestock, fisheries and attempts to upgrade the agricultural sector. It also communicates with the relevant ministries and organizations to implement improved policy strategies which disseminate by arranging events to support farmers.

Who we are?

ARCHA is an Italian company that provides chemical & biological analytical, research and consultancy services to enterprises, in different industrial sectors such as food, waste management, etc. Laboratory area has been accredited according to ISO 17025, research area performs R&D&I activities, the consulting area provides services related with regulatory compliance on the environment, H&S in workplaces, implementation of Quality, Environment and Safety systems. ARCHA has been recognised by Certification Bodies to perform the complete analytical protocols for SOIL biodegradability certifications (OK biodegradable SOIL by TÜV Austria and Soil biodegradable by DIN CERTCO), for industrial and home compostability, water and marine certifications. ARCHA is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and SA8000 and provides services related with regulatory compliance, implementation of Quality, Environment and Safety systems.

Within RAINS project, ARCHA is in charge for the assessment of the environmental, socio-economic and safety impacts assessment of the developed solutions, for the analyses and validation of the biodegradability of materials according to official standards, to predict and assess human and environmental toxicity by using QSAR toolbox.

The Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) is an association based in Catalonia (Spain) that encompasses representatives of the overall value chain of the water sector. It is commited to promote innovation, sustainability and International colaboration by fostering joint projects and knowledge exchange. CWP suports the development and implementation of smart, eficient water solutions and plays a key role in adressing global challenges like water scarcity, digital transformation and the transition towards a circular economy

Our role in this project

CWP leads the identification of social and regulatory barriers to the adoption of sustainable irrigation and fertilization practices, organizing regional workshops with stakeholders. It also contributes to stakeholder mapping, demonstration visits, end-user workshops, EU and Spanish regulatory reviews, and the creation of a European network of similar initiatives for collaboration.

Who we are?

ELGO-DIMITRA is Greece’s national organization for agricultural research, education, and quality assurance, promoting innovation and sustainability in the agri-food sector. It operates research institutes and vocational centers across the country. One of its key units, the Soil and Water Resources Institute (SWRI), focuses on sustainable soil and water management, smart agriculture, and environmental monitoring using advanced technologies like GIS, remote sensing, and AI.

Our role in this project

ELGO-DIMITRA contributes to the RAINS project through the implementation of pilot applications of innovative solutions for sustainable water and nutrient management. It is involved in the identification and engagement of relevant stakeholders and supports knowledge dissemination and the promotion of the benefits of the project’s solutions.

AIMPLAS technical capacities support companies in achieving circular economy and high-performance product goals.

Our role in this project

During the RAINS project, AIMPLAS leads the upscaling of solutions, coordinating the development and pilot-scale production of sustainable technologies based on biodegradable materials. Its role includes compound formulation, optimization of industrial processing parameters, and technical functional characterization to validate performance under real operating conditions.

Who are we?

AgroApps is a Greek SME specializing in the development of digital solutions for the agri-food sector. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, AgroApps empowers stakeholders across the agri-food value chain through advanced tools that integrate Earth Observation technology, AI, and field data to enhance data-driven decision-making, improve agricultural productivity and support climate adaptation. AgroApps actively participates in EU projects, bridging cutting-edge technology with real-world farming needs.

Our role in this project

AgroApps leads the development and customization of WaterIQ, a user-centric decision support platform for water & nutrient management. WaterIQ will leverage advanced IoT networks & sophisticated water stream optimization as well as water retention techniques and best practice guidance acting as a data gateway hub providing bespoke recommendations for soil enhancement. AgroApps will also play a key role in pilot testing, ensuring the applicability and usability of the proposed digital tools in real farming environments.

Who are we?

CIAGRO-UMH is an Agrifood and Agri-environmental focused Research Center, expert in innovations for sustainable agriculture and circular economy. They have a problem-solver procedure, close to producers giving added-values solutions from science and technology, especially related to water management, soil quality and fertilizers optimization to maximize production in an environmentally-friendly manner. One of the third best Spanish agrifood research center and expert in intensive mediterranean production systems.

Our role in this project

CIAGRO-UMH supplies solutions for biosolids use in agriculture, fine tunning use of biobased fertilizers and amendments. Innovations based on biodegradable elements to avoid soil erosion will be also validated in RAINS project. In addition, hydrogeological approach of proposed solutions and nutrient balance in the studied agronomic systems will be monitored by CIAGRO-UMH
